This game will appeal to the Aerosmith fans. The game play, presentation, and features are like the previous games. Nothing new has been added. The music is all from Aerosmith, which is the main focus of this game.

You get access to the same features as the previous games. There are many unlockables available to keep you playing for a long time. Some of these unlockables are awesome guitars.

Some people will look at this game as a filler for the next installment of Guitar hero games. But a lot of time and energy went in to the game to capture the look and feel of Aerosmith.

Because the game mechanics where so good from the beginning, it is hard to come with new games that will bring the genre to new heights. That is why we only see a modest amount of updates each game.

What is great about number five is that everything has been made more accessible for the gamers. You can start the game and jump right into a jam session.

One new cool addition to the game play is that there are bonus challenges that you can complete during your jam session to unlock cool items.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen

These band specific Guitar Hero games are basically a good selling point for the band itself. The bands are the ones that really profit from the games. This is because it keeps them in the minds of players and consumers.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen does not bring any new additions to the presentation or game play. What it does bring to the table is one of the best bands of all time. You get to relive all the cool songs like Panama and Jump.

Everything else falls in to place nicely. The graphics are great, animation is smooth, and presentation is excellent. But this was already perfected from the previous games.
